The all-new 2026 Jeep Compass is set to make a bold entrance with a complete reinvention that blends rugged Jeep heritage with modern electrification. Built on Stellantis’s advanced STLA Medium platform, the third-generation Compass debuts with a wider stance, sharper lines, and a tougher design that feels just as at home on city streets as it does on untamed trails. Production begins in Italy in mid-2025, with North American assembly following in 2026 at the Brampton, Ontario facility.
Jeep is moving away from traditional gasoline-only models, offering the new Compass exclusively with electrified powertrains. Drivers can choose between a mild-hybrid 48V e-Hybrid producing about 145 horsepower, a plug-in hybrid delivering roughly 195 horsepower, or fully electric variants that range from 213 horsepower with a 74 kWh battery and about 500 km of range, to a high-output 375 horsepower version boasting up to 660 km of range. The electric model also carries forward Jeep’s legendary 4WD capability, while the hybrid options adopt rear-wheel drive for efficiency.
Inside, the Compass is designed to be both versatile and comfortable. It features generous storage space, including a 34-liter front compartment, 40/20/40 split-folding rear seats, and the latest safety technology with a Tier 2 autonomous driver-assist suite. The cabin merges practicality with premium touches, making it as appealing for daily commutes as it is for weekend adventures.
Set to launch in Europe first by late 2025, the 2026 Compass will arrive in North America in 2026, bringing with it a new era for Jeep. With its combination of bold design, multiple electrified powertrain choices, and advanced technology, the reinvented Compass stands as a symbol of Jeep’s adventurous spirit and its commitment to the future of mobility.
